North Cambridge Academy students, staff members, and families gathered on GCSE results day to celebrate the achievements of its Year 11 cohort.
Principal Jane Driver said the school is proud of its Year 11 students, praising the “fantastic” results they achieved. She said the cohort has embodied North Cambridge Academy’s values of hard work, ambition, confidence, creativity and kindness throughout their GCSE and vocational preparation.
North Cambridge AcademyAmong the school’s top performers are:
Edie Hobson, who received eight grade 9s, one grade 8 and a Level 2 Distinction*;
Abby Ho, who received four grade 9s, five grade 8s and two Level 2 Distinction*;
Assia Haddad, who received three grade 9s, five grade 8s, two grade 7s and a Level 2 Merit,
Lucy Perraki, who received four grade 9s, four grade 8s, two grade 7s and a Level 2 Distinction.

These achievements are a credit to them, and to the staff, volunteers and families who have supported them along the way.
“We are excited for our students’ next steps and particularly pleased to see a number of them taking up fully funded post-16 bursaries at the Stephen Perse Foundation as part of the North Cambridge Futures Programme.”
