RECAP: Mail Sport's live blog for the latest updates from second practice at the Las Vegas Grand Prix as practice was delayed due to loose manhole cover after Carlos Sainz stopped after going over the drain.
Thanks for following along what was a chaotic practice session for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
If you're in the UK it's an early morning start on Saturday for final practice and qualifying.
We'll be bringing lap-by-lap updates from those sessions so do come back for all the latest
Lewis Hamilton to Sky Sports F1: '[The track] is incredibly fast, and it’s a lot of fun. I had so much fun today. I’m so glad that we did get to run again.
'Obviously FP1, with what happened, but they did a great job to fix it.
'The car is okay, it’s not too bad. When we’re all out there on similar tyres I don’t think we’re too far off.
'Qualifying position will be really important, and degradation will be key, but I had a blast!'
George Russell to Sky Sports F1: It's good to finally get going after a long day. Very fast circuit with very high speeds.
I think it will be an interesting weekend.
Getting the tyre temperatures up and then tyre deg, should make it interesting for everyone.
It's difficult to get a full representation of where everyone is because one used two sets of softs, we used one set. So, it will be dominated by race pace.
1) Charles Leclerc
2) Carlos Sainz
3) Fernando Alonso
4) Sergio Perez
5) Valtteri Bottas
6) Max Verstappen
7) Nico Hulkenberg
8) Lance Stroll
9) Lewis Hamilton
10) Alex Albon
Let's just let that sink in.
What a bizarre and frustrating day for all involved.
Action without fans and finishing at 4am. It will be daylight before these drivers get to bed you fear!
The bright side for drivers and race engineers is that there are less than two minutes to go and there have been no further incidents since the drain cover fiasco involving Sainz in FP1.
This is not Hamilton's finest and he's unlikely to make a dent into the pace of leader Charles Leclerc.
He looked good earlier on in this 90-minute run but is about 6.3 seconds down on Leclerc's pace.
Hamilton remains ninth quickest.
Fans have relentlessly lampooned F1 for the farcical scenes at the Las Vegas Grand Prix which saw the first practice session cancelled due to a loose manhole cover.

There's plenty of star power around the garage of Alpine this weekend, with Ryan Reynolds recently meeting Esteban Ocon to see his custom Deadpool helmet, but there isn't much star dust rubbing off on the French team.
With 12 minutes to go they are running 15th (Pierre Gasly) and 16th (Esteban Ocon)
The good - Ferrari
The bad - Lando Norris (11th) has felt anonymous in this practice session; George Russell (12th) just spun off and hasn't hit the heights he will have wanted
Still time for the Brits to plug in some competitive lap times, though.
