Piastri and Sainz comment on the race
Piastri speaking to Sky Sports: 'Tricky race. It's been a great weekend all round. It's nice to have a podium and what better place. Charles has been mega all weekend. It would have taken something pretty special in qualifying. It would have taken probably the best lap of my life. I'm happy with P2.'
Sainz to Sky Sports: 'It was a tight one. A very bad feeling in lap one that quickly turned into a good feeling. From there on the race was good as expected. I'm extremely happy Charles has won his home Grand Prix. It looks like we're getting stronger and stronger every weekend.
Leclerc reflects on his victory
Leclerc speaking to Sky Sports on his victory: 'No words can explain that. It's such a difficult race. It's the race that made me dream of becoming an F1 driver one day. Already 15 laps to the end you are just hoping nothing happens. I was thinking of my Dad, he's given everything for me to be here.'
Delight for Leclerc
It wasn't the most entertaining race but what an incredible day for Leclerc - this is the moment that he has been waiting for. There are jubilant scenes as Leclerc celebrates with his team.
Piastri finishes second
Oscar Piastri finished in second place ahead of Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.
George Russell is fifth, with Max Verstappen in sixth and Lewis Hamilton in seventh.
Charles Leclerc has done it. He has achieved his aim of winning his home grand prix. What a moment for him.
