Queen Mary to offer free general admission to Midsummer Scream badge holders

Дата публикации: 05-08-2026 14:21:18

TWO LONG BEACH LOCATIONS… will have much in common over one eerie August weekend, thanks to the presence of Midsummer Scream, the huge Halloween and horror convention that adds an otherworldly allure to the Long Beach Convention Center each year. The eeky expo will monstrously materialize from Aug. 7-9, and if you’re in attendance, pause to ponder this intriguing offer: The Queen Mary, the forever-in-Long-Beach ship that is synonymous with all sorts of celebrated spectral adventures, is welcoming Midsummer Scream guests with a deal from beyond: free general admission. You’ll need to have a “valid convention badge” from the 2026 Midsummer Scream event to enjoy complimentary entry, and parking is additional, as are some of the special events on board the big boat. The drive between the two spots is about ten minutes but count on encountering many Midsummer Scream mavens on the Queen Mary, which hums with haunt fans all year long.
JACKIE’S SPIRIT SHOPPE, a recent addition to the fabled ocean-liner, may be one Queen Mary destination you’ll want to haunt. The store’s name is an ode to one of the First-Class Swimming Pool’s phantoms, and the merchandise has a “supernatural” aura, as befits its haunting handle. There are other aura-filled places to call upon as you wander the ship’s legendarily lengthy and atmosphere-packed corridors, including the Observation Bar, an Art Deco space that serves traditional and themed cocktails. And be sure to seek out, if you’re feeling daring, the No. 3 Speakeasy, which is open on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are keen to join one of the ship’s story-filled paranormal experiences, check out ticket prices, times, and what each tour offers at this page. Will you spy something fleeting past your vision? It is Midsummer Scream weekend, after all, so the Queen Mary’s unseen denizens may be quite the impish mood.
