CRKD is expanding its controller lineup with the ULT PRO, a new wireless gamepad that attempts to cover just about every modern gaming setup without requiring players to keep a controller collection on the shelf. The ULT PRO is now shipping with support for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, mobile devices, tablets, and Smart TVs.

Connectivity includes 2.4GHz wireless through the included dongle, Bluetooth, and USB-C wired play. PC users can also enable a 1000Hz polling mode when playing through a wired connection, giving the controller a faster input-reporting rate for competitive play.

One of the bigger hardware changes is the use of TMR, or Tunnelling Magnetoresistance, thumbsticks. CRKD says the magnetic sensor technology is designed to eliminate stick drift while providing greater precision than traditional mechanical or Hall Effect sticks. The controller also includes a No Deadzone Mode for players who want to further adjust stick responsiveness.

The triggers get plenty of attention as well. A toggle system lets players switch between a short, tactile trigger press and longer trigger travel, with each trigger adjustable independently. Hall Effect sensors handle trigger input, with analog operation on PC and digital inputs when used with Nintendo Switch.

CRKD has also loaded the ULT PRO with six additional remappable inputs. Four are located on the rear with the additional two sitting in the shoulder area. Buttons can be remapped through the controller or CRKD Companion App, with support for custom macros and profile presets that can be stored directly on the controller. Swappable stick tops and D-pads provide another layer of customization, although those components are sold separately.

The ULT PRO includes an integrated rechargeable battery, charging dock, cable, and wireless dongle. Players can also use standard AA batteries, while an optional additional rechargeable battery can be kept charging in a compartment inside the dock for hot swapping.

CRKD is offering the ULT PRO in Smoke Black with either Switch or PC layouts, along with a Pal Grey Switch layout. The controller carries an MSRP of $129.99 and is available now.
