The Vulcan II XP Air uses hot-swappable TITAN HS Red Linear mechanical switches, which come factory pre-lubed and are paired with refined stabilizers and sound-dampening foam. Connectivity comes through 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or USB-A, with support for switching between as many as five connected devices.

Keeping all of that running is a 6,000mAh battery. Turtle Beach rates the keyboard for up to 95 hours with its RGB lighting and AirTrack system enabled. Turn both off and the claimed battery life jumps dramatically to as much as 2,000 hours.

AirTrack is probably the most interesting addition. The gesture sensor allows users to control compatible functions such as media playback and audio with hand movements rather than reaching for another control. Whether waving at your keyboard proves more convenient than simply turning a media wheel remains to be seen, but AirTrack also incorporates presence detection. When the user walks away, the keyboard can automatically dim its RGB lighting to conserve battery power.

Competitive features include Full N-Key Rollover, anti-ghosting, ReacTap SOCD, EASY-SHIFT[+], and a dedicated Game Mode. There’s also a multi-function media wheel with Windows Wheel support, per-key AIMO RGB lighting, Windows Dynamic Lighting compatibility, five onboard profiles, and additional customization through Turtle Beach’s Swarm II software.

For players who don’t need wireless connectivity or gesture controls, the wired Vulcan II XP announced at Gamescom 2026 is also headed to market. It shares many of the Air’s features while offering a choice between TITAN HS Linear Red and Tactile Brown switches. Black and White versions will be available.

Both keyboards are available for pre-order now through Turtle Beach and participating retailers worldwide, with a global launch scheduled for October 25. The wireless Vulcan II XP Air carries a $199.99 MSRP, while the wired Vulcan II XP comes in at $149.99.
