We usually avoid going on the Diagonal, but we had to drive out the other day and finally saw the highly touted bike path. It sure looks expensive. Too bad they didn’t set aside a few dollars to mow the weeds along the highway.

I wonder how the airport manager has the right to invite all of his guests who don’t live in Boulder County to come here and fly into Vance Brand Airport. When does he apologize to us to have to listen to it? I think that he is overstepping his bounds, and I would like to have him really do more for the community surrounding the airport than just for the pilots who fly in that are his buddies, who don’t contribute anything to Longmont.

The failed ethics complain against our City Council member by the now dismissed and disgraced ex-Airport Advisory Board member was a pathetic attempt to threaten and bully our City Council into doing nothing about our airport issues. McCoy was trying to manage the abusive air traffic over our city.

Thank you, Longmont. Outstanding night again on Cruise Night. So much fun. So much fun. Such a wonderful, wonderful community. We love it. Just don’t build anymore apartments.

The caller was right about bad financials for Longmont train taxes when in reality automobiles will always rule the day. CoCo may give back $3.3 million annually, but Longmont taxpayers will needlessly pay $8.5 million annually for FasTracks and another $7 million each year for a new CoCo sales tax if voted in.
