Former Married At First Sight star Tamara Joy received a rude awakening on Friday after sharing a sponsored post for a women's sex toy on Instagram.

The 29-year-old was promoting the Vush, a 'vacuum sucker' that uses 'enhanced vacuum technology to gently suck and caress' the female anatomy.

In a lengthy post, the brunette beauty gushed about the toy's 'suction motion' and said that it was important for women 'not to feel ashamed' by owning a vibrator. 

She also said that she was joining 'the movement to break the stigma behind female sexuality.'

However, despite the positive and empowering nature of the post, Tamara was flooded with lewd comments from her fans.

'Do you have a video demo of you using it to show us?' wrote one.

Another commented: 'Face looks like you've been at it for 15 minutes already.'

'Make a vid using it and ill be interested,' another one of Tamara's crude followers added. 

'Oh FFS [for f***'s sake] you must be hard up for money spruiking sex toys now... is that how you fund all those holidays?' raged a troll. 

Tamara isn't the only MAFS star to promote the pleasure product, with Jessika Power also sharing some sponsored content for the brand this week. 

In a lengthy Instagram post, Jessika said that she was 'honored to break the RIDICULOUS stigma on female sexuality'.

'As women we are strong, independent, smart and beautiful and we deserve to feel good without feeling ashamed!' she continued.

'There is nothing wrong with owning a vibrator (I own four, why? I'm not actually sure how it got to that many but oh well).'

In a response to a fan that commented on the post, Jessika admitted that the toy, 'always manages to pull me out of my bad mood'.

She also shared a video promoting the product, which opened with a warning advising her younger fans to tune out.

'I know that I have young girls on [Instagram]... this video is probably not the best for you,' she warned.

'Look, what girl doesn't own a vibrator?' she continued. 'Let's get serious!

'I'm not shy of my sexuality and I'm not shy on how I wanna feel,' she added.
