Apexon targets stalled AI pilots with three AgentRise additions

Santa Clara-based technology services firm Apexon Inc. today expanded AgentRise, its agentic artificial intelligence platform, with three new components.

The additions are named AgentRise Polaris, AgentRise Lodestone and AgentRise Harness. Each maps to one of three disciplines Apexon has built its client work around, called Domain & Strategy, Cognitive Architecture and Harness Engineering.

Polaris covers the first. Apexon pitches it as a way for companies to decide which AI projects are worth funding and to turn business goals into delivery roadmaps. The company makes a point of sequencing that work as near-term waypoints rather than multiyear plans.

Lodestone handles the architecture layer. It builds what Apexon calls an AI-ready enterprise knowledge layer, connecting data, institutional knowledge and business context so agents have something to draw on at the moment a decision gets made.

Harness is the engineering piece. It embeds AI across the software development lifecycle using what it calls Golden Paths and delivery teams it calls Agentic Pods. Build, test, deployment and governance all run through it.

Agentic projects do not have a good record of reaching the finish line. Gartner Inc. predicted in June 2025 that more than 40% of them will be scrapped by the end of 2027. Costs were one of the reasons. The analyst firm also pointed to business cases that never proved out.

Apexon Chief Executive Sriniketh Chakravarthi made a similar point in announcing the release. “AI and new technologies are changing what enterprises can build and how technology can impact the business in fundamental ways,” he said. “At the same time, it is clear that too many AI pilots never make it to production.”

Chakravarthi said the three disciplines are what he expects to shape enterprise software development, with harness engineering supplying the agents that do the building. The expanded platform, he said, is meant to move clients “from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale execution.”

AgentRise first launched in July 2025. The platform pulled Apexon’s own models together with domain frameworks and third-party tools, wrapped in a shared security and governance layer. Client results the company published then included a 40% cut in processing time. Workloads dropped 30%, it said. The three new products extend it into what Apexon now calls the full enterprise AI lifecycle.

Pricing and availability for Polaris, Lodestone and Harness were not disclosed.
