Cassie Sainsbury has officially launched her online fitness training business, two years after her release from Columbia's notorious El Buen Pastor prison.

Dubbed 'Cocaine Cassie' after she was convicted for drug smuggling in the South American country, the failed gym owner, 28, returned to Australia last year and is now hoping to restart her fitness career.

Sainsbury's business, Cassie Leigh Fitness, offers online workout programs and personal training sessions that focus on creating the 'body shape' of the Colombian women she served time with.

Basic online fitness programs will set you back $20 per month, while the eight-week 'Hourglass Body Challenge' costs $39.95.

The South Australian fitness trainer is also offering customised plans for $75, while face-to-face personal training for Adelaide residents are priced at $65.

'While in Colombia I would look at all the women there and they would have beautiful bodies with the whole curvy figure and I thought I want that so I started a process of elimination about how to build certain muscles to give that illusion of having that Latin body shape,' Sainsbury explained in a press release on Monday.

Sainsbury has previously vowed to donate 10 per cent of her business' sales to a rehab charity in Adelaide.

'I want to help people get to the point where they are happy and get into the mindset where they feel good about themselves,' she told the Herald Sun on Friday.

Sainsbury, who recently moved back to Australia with her wife Tatiana, also spoke to the publication about her fascination with the 'body shape' of South American women during her stint in prison.

'I would look at all the women over there and they would have these beautiful bodies, with the whole curvy figure,' she said.

Cassie's new business venture comes after she admitted to Herald Sun earlier this year that she has struggled to find a job since moving back to Australia last year.

'Trying to get a job and move forward. I quite often get told that I'm a murderer, that I'm quite conniving and cold and don't show remorse,' she said.

'People can't show emotions because that's a sign of weakness so I buried the sadness and I'd feel I pretty much got to a point where it would explode.'

Cassie was arrested in Columbia in April, 2017, when she was caught trying to leave the country with 5.8kgs of cocaine in her luggage.

The bust shot her to international infamy as she was dubbed 'Cocaine Cassie' and even landed a role on SAS Australia this year.

She was sentenced to six years behind bars at El Buen Pastor prison but only served three before she was released.

Cassie spent another two years on parole in South America before returning to Australia last year to live in Adelaide with her wife Tatiana.
