Married At First Sight bride KC Osborne recently broke up with her boyfriend Jason Engler because the pair 'just didn't align'. 

But on Wednesday, the 36-year-old construction estimator hinted that the 32-year-old dancer may have ended their romance to appear on another dating show.

In a video shared to Instagram, he said: 'I'm not going to get into details of why obviously, she said something about alignment, she's going far left, I'm going far right.'

'No we don't really talk, not that friendly with each other anymore unfortunately. Is it because she's going on a dating show? Possibly... I don't even know if she's going on it.'

Jason went on to say her that rumour is 'one of the many reasons' for their split.

KC announced her split from Jason last month during a Q&A on Instagram.

When a fan asked what happened between the pair, she wrote: 'We just don't align with each other. That's that. I'm good. I'm happy.' 

Jason's video comes just days after it was reported that KC was set to reunite with her ex, Michael Goonan on the new season of ITV's Ex on the Beach.

Last month, a source close to KC told Daily Mail Australia that KC was told 'she needed to make it clear she was single,' ahead of her appearance on the show.

'KC and Jason weren't just a one-time hook-up. They were obsessed with each other,' they said.

'He was serious about their relationship and even flew down to Sydney to hang out with her.'

The show's producers were hoping for a 'toxic love triangle' with KC's ex-boyfriend, Michael and his MAFS bride Stacey Hampton, who has since pulled out of the project.

On Tuesday, Goonan seemingly confirmed his appearance on the show after he was spotted catching a flight to Colombia.
