The Department of Biology and Biochemistry offers state-of-the-art laboratory space in the Science and Engineering Research Center (SERC), access to advanced core facilities, and extensive opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across the university. Additional collaborative opportunities are available with nearby institutions in the Texas Medical Center, of which the University of Houston is a member.
