The genome sequence of the Cream-bordered Green Pea moth, Earias clorana (Linnaeus, 1761) (Lepidoptera: Nolidae) [version 1; peer review: 1 approved]

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Earias clorana (Cream-bordered Green Pea; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Nolidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 385.83 megabases and 346.66 megabases. Most of the haplotype 1 assembly (99.82%) was scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.72 kilobases. Gene annotation of the haplotype 1 assembly by Ensembl identified 12,723 protein-coding genes. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
