Whoa! What do we have here?! Horror fans - don't skip over this preview. A24 has unveiled a surprise teaser trailer for a movie now titled Slayground, a Halloween haunted house horror movie from acclaimed genre filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier (of Blue Ruin, Green Room, Hold the Dark, Rebel Ridge). This secret teaser started playing in theaters this past weekend - everyone was surprised because this new title is so new it is not even listed online anywhere. Written & directed by Saulnier, the film was initially titled October, but since it won't release this October and A24 didn't want to wait until next year, they gave it a new title. It's still due out in theaters sometime soon this fall. Starring Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Stephen Root, Imogen Poots, Matty Matheson, Young Mazino, with Macon Blair. Details on what's going on are rather vague – but this trailer (and the sneaky viral website) is filled with CCTV footage of people going through a crazy scary Halloween haunted house. Maybe all the scares in there are actually real? It's run by a demon? There's also a reveal of a uber gnarly villain character at the end of this footage - check it out below.

Slayground takes its title from the haunted attraction where the lead character works. Slayground, formerly known as October, is written and directed by the American indie genre filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier, director of the films Murder Party, Blue Ruin, Green Room, and Hold the Dark, and Rebel Ridge previously, plus a few eps of "True Detective" (Season 3). It's produced by Eli Bush, Richard Peete, Jeremy Saulnier, Skei Saulnier. This hasn't premiered at any festivals or elsewhere; no other details are available on the film yet.
