At the Thessaloniki meeting, it was also decided that the Champions League final would be held in Munich in two years and in Barcelona, at the new Camp Nou, the following season. The latter venue was chosen over Wembley, even though the facility will not be fully completed until 2028, as construction of the upper stands and the roof structure is still underway. Barcelona will host a high-profile match one year before the World Cup co-hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. The Catalan city last hosted a Champions League final in 1999.

The 2027 Champions League final will be held in Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano, the Europa League final in Frankfurt, and the Conference League final in Istanbul at Besiktas’s stadium.

The 2028 final of the Europa League, Europe’s second-tier club competition, will be held in Bucharest, with Belgrade hosting the final a year later, while the 2027 UEFA Super Cup will take place in Amsterdam, followed by the next edition in Astana.

The venues for the Women’s Champions League finals have also been announced: Lyon will host the final in two years, and Cardiff will host it in 2029.
