GastroMed, a leading gastroenterology group serving South Florida, is pleased to welcome Dr. Andres Rodriguez, who is now accepting new patients at the GastroMed Doral office located at 10305 NW 41 Street, Suite 212, Doral, FL 33178. 

Dr. Rodriguez provides compassionate, personalized care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. His approach centers on listening to patients, educating them about their digestive health, and partnering with them to develop individualized treatment plans.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System, where he gained extensive experience managing complex medical conditions. He was subsequently selected to serve as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at University of Miami Hospital, further developing his clinical leadership and patient-care skills.

Dr. Rodriguez completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at Emory University, where he developed advanced expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive and liver diseases.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Rodriguez is committed to providing evidence-based care while helping patients better understand their digestive health and make informed decisions about their treatment.

His arrival further strengthens GastroMed’s commitment to providing accessible, personalized digestive care throughout Miami-Dade County. GastroMed now serves the community through eight offices, four ambulatory surgery centers, and a pathology laboratory, with care available from Miami Lakes to Homestead.
