Auditions for the new season of Choral Arts of Chattanooga will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 6-9 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St. in Chattanooga. 

"Come sing your best for Darrin Hassevoort, our totally amazing artistic director," officials said. "To demonstrate vocal flexibility, please prepare to sing two selections in contrasting styles (aria, art song or American folk). Bring a copy of your music for the provided accompanist. You will also be asked to sight-read the vocal part of a choral score."

"We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m., starting in the fall and continuing through spring," officials said.

"Most performances are on Thursdays or Fridays."
