In case you forgot, the Phillies signed veteran outfielder Tommy Pham to a minor-league deal on June 27.
The reason we bring that up is because Pham is still at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, and simultaneously beefing with Cincinnati Reds outfielder Dane Myers.
What’s going on is we have cf’s today who know the value of stealing catches to help their ooa numbers go up bcuz it improves your war so you have this, a game that is lost bcuz the cf didn’t want the lf to catch the ball bcuz he wanted the points

Pham has had a strong MLB career, as he has a .764 OPS in 4,842 career plate appearances. However, he’s played for 10 teams in 13 years, and that doesn’t even include that he has played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets twice. To put it lightly, the 38-year-old is well-traveled.
He is hitting .284 with an .866 OPS in 38 games for the IronPigs. Barring an injury, though, it’s hard to see a path for him joining the Phillies before the season ends, even once the rosters expand to 28 in September. And he probably isn’t doing himself any favors by getting in a Twitter beef given some of the volatile moments from his past:
