However, competition is intensifying as OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft enter the market with their own voice models. Adobe is taking a different approach. Rather than focusing solely on achieving the best possible voice quality, it is seamlessly combining editing, images, video, and audio in a single interface.

Adobe's strategic shift regarding the underlying AI models is also notable. The company is no longer relying exclusively on technology developed in-house and is instead integrating leading third-party models directly into Firefly. In addition to the specialized video models Runway Aleph 2.0 and Kling 3.0, Google's Gemini Omni Flash is now available as well. This transforms Firefly from a closed tool into an open hub for the market's leading creative models.
