Ryan Garcia has pointed the finger at 'elitists' for his suspension that was handed to him by the WBC after posting a series of racial slurs and comments on social media.

The 25-year-old former interim lightweight champion resumed his unusual behavior on X, barely 24 hours after apologizing to Black people and claiming that he entered rehab to treat his issues with substance abuse.

'Everyone is focused on me,' Garcia wrote on X at nearly 4:30 am on Saturday. 'That is a distraction to what the elites are doing.

'They want us fighting.' 

In a follow up post on the same platform, Garcia claimed that 'To be honest the real elites sees us as puppets dancing along the strings.' 

It's unclear who exactly are 'the elites' that Garcia is mentioning but before his latest activity on social media, the troubled boxer said that he takes 'all responsibility' for his discriminatory remarks on Black people and Muslims. 

He shared in a post on X that 'it's been a tough couple of months as everyone can tell but I AM SORRY.'

He added: 'I struggle with substance abuse and it hard for me with everything going on.'

Last month, Garcia was suspended for a year by the New York State Athletic Commission, which also ruled that his April 20 victory over Devin Haney would be considered a no-contest after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). 

After his apology, Garcia posted several more times. Among his comments: 'I stand on the fact that a black man can be racist' and 'In the hood everyone has said the N word.' 

Garcia also complained that other fighters had made racist statements without being disciplined by the WBC.

Amid claims that he's 'got' a girlfriend, as shared photos with a mystery woman emerged on social media, earlier this month, the Victorville, California, native was spotted celebrating the Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup title in Miami with NFL wideout Odell Beckham Jr in June.

He also once recently joked about his arrest for trashing a hotel that was hosting a star-studded poker tournament in LA, including the likes of Neymar and Jimmy Butler.
