Lenovo is adding another Snapdragon option to its business laptop range. The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 Snapdragon Edition is now available in some overseas markets, bringing Qualcomm’s latest ARM chips to the familiar ThinkPad platform in a surprisingly lightweight package.
The laptop gets a completely redesigned chassis that feels more rigid, yet the whole thing still comes in at just 1.19 kg. You can pick between the Snapdragon X2 Plus (X2P-42-100) or the stronger Snapdragon X2 Elite (X2E-80-100). It supports fast LPDDR5X-9600 memory up to 32 GB and uses a compact M.2 2242 SSD for storage.
There are two 1920×1200 IPS screen choices. One is a touch panel with 400 nits and 45% NTSC color coverage; the other is a non-touch version that hits 500 nits and covers the full 100% sRGB gamut. Both stick to 60 Hz, which keeps things efficient for everyday work. A 58 Wh battery powers the system, and it comes with Wi-Fi 7 for faster, more reliable wireless connections.
The ThinkPad T14s series has always been popular with business users thanks to its build quality, keyboard, and enterprise features. Switching to the Snapdragon X2 platform brings the usual ARM advantages: better efficiency, longer battery life, and a lightweight build. The lighter, stiffer chassis makes it especially appealing if you’re always on the move.
By offering both the Plus and Elite versions of the X2 chip, Lenovo covers different needs, from straightforward office work to heavier multitasking.
Price and availability:
The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 is already available in select overseas markets. In the UK, for example, the base model pairs the Snapdragon X2 Plus with 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD, priced at £1,909. The X2 Elite variant starts with 32 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD and costs £2,500. If you want more storage, the 512 GB and 1 TB variants cost £2,560 and £2,690, respectively.
This T14s Gen 7 Snapdragon Edition shows Lenovo is serious about giving business users efficient options that still feel premium. Wider availability is expected soon, although regional prices could vary.
