What's the problem? What does "doesn't work" mean?

The Diting phone’s eSIM still doesn’t work, even though I installed the latest firmware.

did you enable it and leave sim2 empty?

Diting global (12T Pro) has esim
Diting china (K50 Ultra and main version with many more update) has no esim

Xiaomi.eu is based on...CN official FW. IMO, it means based on the K50 Ultra FW without esim.

Xiaomi definitely needs to add something to the global ROMs to give access to esim for the 12T Pro but won't d do it for the official china rom (K50 Ultra)

It is not xiaomi.eu's responsibility to add a fix to the custom rom they provide for free, but rather a third-party developer's responsibility to provide this fix.

Incorrect. Most of our ROMs are based on China ROM whereas none of the Chinese devices have an eSIM.
We already add everything necessary for eSIM to work.

I can confirm as ex owner 12T Pro ditting up to HyperOS 3.0.1 esim was work without problems
