Ongoing component shortages still expected to play major roleThirty minutes after the market closes, Apple will report its fiscal third-quarter 2026 earnings, followed by a conference call with CEO Tim Cook and CFO Kevan Parekh. This will mark the last time Tim Cook joins the call as Apple’s CEO, and his 90th earnings call overall.
During last quarter’s call, incoming CEO John Ternus made a brief appearance, thanking Cook, Apple’s executive team, employees, and longtime shareholders before expressing optimism about the company’s future.
Last quarter, Apple guided for revenue growth of between 14% and 17% year-over-year, with a gross margin of between 47.5% and 48.5%. This means the company expects revenue of between roughly $107.2 billion and $110 billion, compared with Wall Street’s consensus estimate of approximately $109 billion.
During the earnings call, Apple is expected to comment on the impact of the ongoing component shortages, the company’s recent price hikes, and how it sees all of that affecting demand going forward.
Apple’s conference call is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET, with the executives delivering prepared remarks before turning to analyst questions.
As usual, the call is set to be broadcast live, and you can listen in via this link.
