Stefanos Tsitsipas' girlfriend Paula Badosa could not hide her apparent disdain for her Greek partner's father and coach Apostolos during his epic clash with Andy Murray. 

The Greek fifth seed was three sets into a sapping battle with Murray under the lights on Centre Court before play was paused just before the 11pm curfew, with the former rivals returning to action on Friday for the fourth set.

Having lost the first set tie-break, the two-time former champion had fought back, taking the second and third set to lead 2-1, recovering from a late injury scare just before the game was halted.

With her partner struggling to hold back Murray's comeback charge, Badosa was seen glaring at the back of Apostolos' head after the 55-year-old turned to look at her in between points. 

But rather than just a brief glance back at her boyfriend's long-term coach, the Spanish star shot him a stare lasting several seconds, seemingly less than impressed by Tsitsipas' father.  

On seeing the footage, one fan remarked: 'She's known Stefanos for all of two minutes and has already had it with his father!'

And another added: 'Not Paula giving my man Apo (Apostolos) the side eye,' followed by a crying emoji. 

Badosa - due on Court 18 for her own second round clash with Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk on Friday morning - has already made the headlines during this year's Championships after revealing a sex dream she had about Tsitsipas. 

The pair have been publicly dating since the French Open, but Badosa offered up, unprompted, the story of how she had a racy dream about the Greek tennis ace earlier this year in Australia.

'Yeah, well, I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match,' she told a Wimbledon press conference earlier this week.

'Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open. 

'Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I'm not going to explain. I'm just going to leave it there,' which was greeted by laughter from those present for the unexpected insight into her personal life. 

They have only been public about their relationship for a couple of months, with the 25-year-old in attendance during the No 5 ranked men's player's matches at the French Open back in May.

Nevertheless, the couple already appear to be very close, with Tsitsipas referring to Badosa as his 'soulmate' when talking to the BBC as part of their coverage of the tournament. 

'I feel happy and content,' Tsitsipas told Eurosport recently. 

'I haven't really felt that type of connection with anyone before. I don't mean to sound cringe or anything because that's the reality and that's what I am faced with.

'I am extremely blessed and happy that this came at this phase of my life.

'I get to do what I love and I get to do it with someone who completely understands me and gets it. I have been very interested in her mind more than anything else.

'Of course there is attraction but it's also sometimes just a soul interaction and getting to fall in love with her mind. It's very rare that these things happen.'

The pair also have an Instagram account together - tsitsidosa - and share a number of photos of their travels. 

The pair will share the court in the mixed doubles competition, hoping perhaps that their shared chemistry can bear fruit on the grass. 

They will take on Jessica Pegula and Austin Krajicek on Friday, with both now also in contention in singles clashes beforehand. 

But they will not be the only couple teaming up this year, with Katie Boulter - Britain's main hope in the women's draw - lining up with boyfriend Alex de Minaur. 

The pair met for the first time in 2020 and have been together ever since, but this is the first time they will take share the court together in the doubles competition. 

Boulter has made a fine start to life in the main draw, making it safely through to the third round, where she will meet reigning champions Elene Rybakina, following victories over Daria Saville and Viktoriya Tomova.
