Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have put aside the disappointment of not playing mixed doubles together at Wimbledon by enjoying a romantic weekend exploring London.  

The loved-up tennis stars have been the talk of Wimbledon, with their shared Instagram account, and Badosa's sex dream revelation after one of her singles matches, creating headlines.

After injury struck down Badosa and forced her to withdraw from singles and doubles with her world No 5 boyfriend, the pair decided to hit London over the weekend, enjoying dinner at Salt Bae's Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Knightsbridge and making a trip to Harrods for some retail therapy.

Posting on their shared Instagram account, the couple also served up a picture of a kiss at sunset in Hyde Park.

The carefree couple, who have been dating for a few months, captioned one Instagram story 'Week 1 has us like...' as they shielded their eyes somewhat, a nod to the headlines they have been grabbing. 

Interest in their relationship escalated when Badosa revealed that she had a sex dream about her boyfriend during a press conference.

'Yeah, well, I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match,' she said.

'Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open. 

'Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I'm not going to explain.

'I'm just going to leave it there,' she added, laughing.

From there, Badosa was back in the headlines when watching the first instalment of Tsitsipas versus Andy Murray on Centre Court. 

She was snapped giving the Greek tennis player's coach and father, Apostolos, a glaring side-eye, which eagle-eyed fans soon picked up on.

Whether she now holds court in his camp is one matter but the Greek star is incredibly loved up, labelling the Spanish beauty his 'soulmate' in one interview. 

Given he has, by his own admission, got few friends on the tennis tour, they are proving to be inseparable right now.

Their dinner reservation at Salt Bae's Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Knightsbridge, where steaks can cost as much as £680, set the tone for a relaxed weekend as Tstisipas prepares for his last-16 match in men's singles against Chris Eubanks.

Tsitsipas has never made it beyond the fourth round at Wimbledon in his career but he has also seemingly never found himself as loved up as he is now, bidding to translate that happiness onto the court. 

Should he get through he is likely to face third seed Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-final.
