Tim Robards enjoyed some welcome down time with his family over the festive season.

And posting to Instagram on Thursday, the 41-year-old former Bachelor star shared a gallery of snaps which he described as his Christmas 'highlights'.

In one cute photo the rugged SAS Australia star can be seen posing with his wife Anna Heinrich, as he holds the couple's three-year-old daughter Elle in his arms.

Anna, who is expecting the couples second daughter in early 2024, proudly displays her baby bump in the sweet photo. 

Tim also posted video of some delicious holiday season dishes his family including an enormous glazed ham, fresh oysters and salmon.

Other clips featured sweet little Elle practicing on a pair of pink roller skates.

Posting a message with his share, the ruggedly handsome star messaged followers: 

'My highlight reel from the last few days of family time…

'I hope everyone had a nice time with friends and family and didn't get into too many 'passionate discussions',' that can occur when family get together. 

'All those missing loved ones this year I hope you had a glass of champagne or similar in their honour! 

Meanwhile, Tim and Anna, 36, celebrated their third wedding anniversary in June.

The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Puglia on June 7, 2018.

Australia's original Bachelor couple tied the knot at the Masseria Potenti hotel, among the olive groves and vineyards of the Puglian countryside.

The couple dated for four years before getting engaged in May 2017 while on holiday in Kimberley, Western Australia. They share one child, daughter Elle, two.

In October they announced that Anna was expecting a  baby girl in early 2024.
