Bernardo Cuenca Grau has been awarded a prestigious Royal Society University Research Fellowship in order to pursue his research on privacy in ontology-based information systems. To quote from the Royal Society web site, the aim of these awards is "... to provide outstanding scientists, who should have the potential to become leaders in their chosen field, with the opportunity to build an independent research career." The scheme is very competitive with an average success rate of only 5%.
