Elizabeth Phillips and Ines Marusic, DPhil Students from the Department of Computer Science, have both won scholarships to attend the 2015 Grace Hopper Celebration.

The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is the world's largest gathering of women technologists. It is organised by the Anita Borg Institute and presented in partnership with ACM (the Association for Computing Machinery). The GHC Scholarship Grants enable students and faculty, who would otherwise not have the opportunity, to attend the celebration. While there the students can connect with other women in computing and innovative organisations, hear stories from peers and experts in computing, and get career advice. The celebration will be held in Houston, Texas, in October 2015.

Ines is in her third year of a DPhil in Computer Science. Elizabeth is in her second year as a DPhil Student at Oxford University's Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Cyber Security.
