Square Enix announced a new Twitch Support-a-Streamer FFXIV promotion that gives players a chance to buy and gift qualifying subscriptions in order to earn an Alsvid Whistle to summon a new rainbow unicorn mount. It kicked off on July 28, 2026. People will have until August 25, 2026 to earn the Mog Station code for the item, and they need to have an active account to redeem the code.

The Twitch promotion only applies to streams in the FFXIV category on the service and Affiliate and Partner channels streaming the game while that stream is set to the correct category. You then need to buy three subscriptions. These can be tier 1, 2, or 3 ones that you either get for yourself or choose to gift.

After you buy the three applicable subscriptions, you will get the FFXIV Alsvid unicorn mount code in your Twitch Notifications Inbox. Only one code can be earned per promotion. Said Item Code can be redeemed in Mog Station in Registration Codes. 

To go along with the reveal, Square Enix also shared two in-game screenshots of the mount being used.

This sort of FFXIV Twitch Support-a-Streamer promotion happened before. In 2024, it ended up being the way to get the Snowstreamer Snowman mount.

Final Fantasy XIV is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC now, comes to the Switch 2 on August 4, 2026, and FFXIV Evercold will appear in January 2027. The FFXIV Twitch Support-a-Streamer Alsvid the unicorn mount promotion will run between July 28, 2026 and August 25, 2026.
