Square Enix announced FFXIV will once again get the Yo-kai Watch crossover event based on the JRPG, and this time there will be new items based on the Wibble Wobble spin-off. The minions and mount will also be back. This time, Yo-kai Watch: Gather One, Gather All will start on August 4, 2026. People will get about two months to collect everything, as it will wrap up on October 5, 2026. Anyone with an active subscription during that time period can take part, provided their character hit level 15 and completed the introductory MSQ “The Gridanian Envoy,” “The Lominsan Envoy,” or “The Ul’dahn Envoy.” 

This FFXIV Yo-kai Watch event first debuted in July 2016, and we’ve seen it return a number of times. (For example, it appeared during April 2024.)It involves meeting with the Poor-Heeled Youth at Ul’dah, Steps of Nald at X:9.2, Y:9.1. This gives you the Yo-kai Watch and Medallium to take to The Wandering Executive at The Gold Saucer at X:5.2, Y:6.9. If you go through FATES in Black Shroud, La Noscea, Thanalan, and all Heavensward and Stormblood regions, you could collect Yo-kai Medals that you can trade at the Gold Saucer for the following minions. Legendary Yo-kai Medals can be traded for weapons.

• Lord Ananta
• Lord Enma
• Manjimutt
• Noko
• Robonyan F-type
• Shogunyan

• Venoct
• Whisper
• Zazel

After you get at least 13 of these minions, you can get the Whisper-go mount in FFXIV. If you get all 17, then you can spend Manderville Gold Saucer points with Nohi at the Gold Saucer at X:5.2, Y:6.9 to get the new Wibby-Wobbly Jibanyan,  Wibby-Wobbly Komasan, and Wibby-Wobbly USApyon furnishings. The Yo-Kai Watch framer’s kit can also be bought there. 

This is one of two events that will be running at the same time. A Twitch Support-a-Streamer FFXIV promotion is also available. That involves buying or gifting specific types of subscriptions in order to get an Aslvid Whistle for a rainbow unicorn mount.

Final Fantasy XIV is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC now, comes to the Switch 2 on August 4, 2026, and FFXIV Evercold will appear in January 2027. The FFXIV Yo-kai Watch: Gather One, Gather All event will run between August 4, 2026 and October 5, 2026.
