SHARP Business Systems India has launched its latest lineup of A3 digital colour and monochrome multifunctional printers (MFPs) in India. The new portfolio includes the BP-71C, BP-51C, BP-71M and BP-51M series, offering AI-powered automation, high-speed printing and scanning, cloud integration, multi-layered security, and sustainability-focused features.

The new lineup is available in Advanced and Essential Series models, with print speeds ranging from 26 ppm to 65 ppm and support for media sizes up to SRA3.

The Advanced Series includes the BP-71C65 and BP-71C45 colour models and the BP-71M55 and BP-71M65 monochrome models.

The Essential Series includes the BP-51C55, BP-51C45, BP-51C36, BP-51C31T and BP-51C26T colour models, along with the BP-51M45T and BP-51M65T monochrome models.

The printers feature an intuitive user interface and are designed for high-speed copying, printing, and scanning across workplaces including education, healthcare, hospitality, publishing, engineering and design, manufacturing, BFSI, and large corporate environments.

The new MFP lineup features Auto Set Scan, which uses intelligent automation to adjust settings including resolution, document orientation, and image quality based on the scanned content. On the BP-51C and BP-51M series, some of these capabilities require optional equipment.

For high-volume document processing, the BP-71C and BP-71M series feature a 300-sheet Duplex Single Pass Feeder (DSPF) capable of scanning at speeds of up to 300 images per minute.

The BP-51C and BP-51M series use a 100-sheet Reversing Single Pass Feeder (RSPF) with scanning speeds of up to 80 images per minute.

The lineup also supports Microsoft Entra ID for secure authentication and My Folder Print, allowing users to access personalized printing workflows.

SHARP has equipped the new multifunctional printers with multiple security features designed to protect documents, stored information, and connected networks.

The devices include BIOS and firmware integrity checks that can detect system anomalies and initiate recovery procedures. An optional Bitdefender scan engine can also identify and block potential malware threats before they reach connected devices.

Other security features include Microsoft Entra ID token-based authentication, data encryption and erase functions, whitelisting, image job logs, and automatic online firmware updates.

Built-in data erase functionality can also remove stored information when devices are decommissioned or returned at the end of a lease period.

The new SHARP MFP lineup uses up to 50% recycled plastic in its construction, while recyclable cardboard packaging replaces conventional polystyrene materials to reduce plastic waste.

The printers consume as little as 0.3 W in standby mode and meet ENERGY STAR standards with reduced Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC).

The BP-71C and BP-71M Advanced Series models also feature a motion sensor that detects when a user approaches the device, allowing the MFP to prepare for operation while reducing unnecessary power consumption when not in use.

The new SHARP BP-71C, BP-51C, BP-71M and BP-51M series multifunctional printers will be available through SHARP subsidiaries and authorised distributors across India.
