KRAFTON India has announced the BGMI Campus MVP program, a 90-day student leadership initiative designed to build and strengthen Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) communities across leading engineering colleges in the country.

The inaugural edition brings together 150 student ambassadors from 17 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and 28 National Institutes of Technology (NITs). These ambassadors will serve as community leaders by organising gaming tournaments, creating BGMI content, hosting campus meet-ups, and encouraging student participation.
The initiative received over 16,000 applications from more than 5,000 educational institutions across India. Following the selection process, 150 students were chosen for the first cohort, while another 100 applicants have been placed in a reserve pool.
BGMI Campus MVP Program: Three PhasesThe BGMI Campus MVP initiative is divided into three phases over 90 days.
The program features a tier-based rewards system for both ambassadors and participating students.
Ambassadors will earn Rank Points (RP) by completing various program objectives. Rewards range from welcome kits and food or shopping vouchers to UC, trigger sets, premium headphones, and Level 3 backpacks. The top five ambassadors nationwide will achieve the Conqueror rank and receive rewards worth up to ₹15,000.
Students participating in campus activities will also receive rewards across different stages of the program:
KRAFTON India said the Campus MVP initiative is part of its broader strategy to strengthen BGMI’s student gaming ecosystem by combining online competitions with offline campus engagement. The company also plans to expand the program to more educational institutions based on the performance and insights from the inaugural cohort.
