MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. Russia’s stock market closed in the red on Friday as the ruble-denominated MOEX Index lost 0.11% to 2,277.21 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS Index fell by 0.4% to 859.29 points. The yuan exchange rate against the ruble gained 8.3 kopecks to 12.497 rubles.

BCS World of Investment projects the ruble’s exchange rates at 83-85 rubles per 1 US dollar, and 12.3-12.6 rubles per 1 Chinese yuan, and the MOEX Index at 2,200-2,300 points on October 5.

Freedom Global expects the MOEX Index to trade within the 2,250-2,350 point range on Monday. Forecasts for the dollar, euro, and yuan exchange rates for October 5 are 83-85 rubles, 93-95 rubles, and 12.3-12.7 rubles, respectively.

Tsifra Broker projects the 12.2-12.6-ruble range against the Chinese yuan, the 83-85-ruble range against the dollar, and the 93-95-ruble range against the euro.
