Zinc futures (₹415/kg) has been trading in a range for nearly two weeks. But key support levels are still in place, keeping the bullish bias intact.

The October futures has been oscillating between ₹412 and ₹422. Currently trading at ₹415, it is now hovering near a trendline support.

In case the contract rebounds from the current level and breaks out of ₹422, it can establish  a fresh leg of uptrend, potentially taking the price to ₹435. The next barrier above ₹435 is at ₹440.

On the other hand, if zinc futures falls from the current level, it can find support at ₹405 and ₹400. Only a breakdown below the support at ₹400 will turn the outlook bearish. Notable support below ₹400 is at ₹385.

Overall, the bullish inclination will remain if the zinc futures trades above ₹400.

We had suggested buying zinc (Oct) futures at ₹410 before a couple of weeks ago. Since the contract is trading above the support at ₹400, consider holding this trade. Maintain stop-loss at ₹395. 

When the contract rises to ₹430, tighten the stop-loss to ₹420. Book profits at ₹435.
