ST. PETERSBURG, October 21. /TASS/. Russia and China will support and provide for stable operations of banks opened in both territories, according to the Joint Communique of Prime Ministers of Russia and China in conclusion of their 31st regular meeting.

The two parties agreed "to keep the high share of payments in national currencies in bilateral trade, investments, lending and other trade and economic operations."

Moscow and Beijing will at the same time "facilitate stable functioning of banking institutions of Russia and China already opened in territories of each other," the communique indicates.
