Carhartt on Wednesday announced the opening of its new store in Chattanooga. Located at 2115 Gunbarrel Road (Suite 11) in the Hamilton Place Mall, the new store opens this Thursday, and will bring more than 20 jobs to the local community.

To celebrate the grand opening, the first 1,000 customers who are members of Carhartt’s
Groundbreakers Loyalty Program will receive an exclusive commemorative t-shirt.

“We are thrilled to add Chattanooga to our retail footprint to make Carhartt’s durable and versatile workwear easily available to the workforce in southeast Tennessee,” said Mark Kastner, director of Direct-to-Consumer Store Strategy and Experience at Carhartt.

“We’re excited to expand our retail presence to meet an increased need for gear that supports the lifestyle of people in Tennessee and celebrates what can be made possible through hard work – both on and off the job site.”

"As the brand’s sixth standalone store in Tennessee, joining Knoxville, Memphis, Murfreesboro, Nashville and Pigeon Forge, Carhartt is proud to unveil nearly 4,000 square feet of retail space to ensure the hardworking people in the Chattanooga area have access to the brand’s premium workwear faster and easier than ever before," officials said.

The store, which is Carhartt’s 66th standalone in the U.S., will feature the workwear brand’s iconic styles and innovative technology, including the Force performance line, Rain Defender durable water repellent finish, Rugged Flex technology for optimal mobility and much more. The new storefront will offer hardworking gear for men, women and children, as well as footwear and accessories.

This store’s hours are from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and from noon–6 p.m. on Sunday.
