The Tampa Bay Rays no longer sport a perfect record in the 2026 MLB postseason.

Last night, Drew Rasmussen, Yandy Díaz and Junior Caminero battled hard in Game 1 of the ALCS  and seemed to be in command through five innings — but fell 7-3 to the visiting Cleveland Guardians and José Ramirez, Chase DeLauter and Nathaniel Lowe’s mighty bats.

At 8 p.m. ET, they’ll attempt to get revenge and make the most of their home field advantage at Tropicana Field in Game 2.

Tampa Bay is sending Freddy Peralta (10-11, 4.42 ERA) to the hill; Parker Messick (12-9, 2.56 ERA) starts for Cleveland.

“I’m not expecting another high-scoring game this time around,” Sports Illustrated predicted about tonight’s battle in St. Petersburg.

“This should be a good pitching matchup and a lower-scoring game in Tampa Bay.”

Don’t miss out on this tense duel. Both teams are out for blood.

Here’s how to tune in to Game 2 of the ALCS for free without cable.

The Guardians-Rays ALCS marches on with Game 2 today, Oct. 13, at 8 p.m. ET.

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream the Guardians and Rays in the 2026 ALCS for free.

DIRECTV is our favorite service for trying live TV for free. Right now, you can take advantage of a five-day free trial before saving $30 on your first month. We recommend the Choice plan, which includes FOX as part of its 125+ channel options.

The ALCS resumes with a real pitcher’s duel tonight. Southpaw (and Florida native) Parker Messick (12-9, 2.56 ERA) starts for the Guardians, while two-time All Star Freddy Peralta (10-11, 4.42 ERA) will be on the mound for the Rays.
