LeBron James is prepared to do whatever it takes to go on another deep playoff run as the book on his NBA career begins to write its final pages.

James, 41, made the offseason move to the Philadelphia 76ers to make a push to a fifth NBA title.

Joining forces with the likes of Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown and Joel Embiid gives James a great opportunity to do just that. But a question remains of how the all-around player could fit within this system.

When asked by reporters how he'd fit in and what his role would be, James made it clear that he's keeping an open mind on how he's utilized.

'Whatever the team needs for me to do,' James said. 'I think the luxury of my game is I can do everything. Literally, I can do everything.'

James has played nearly every position on an NBA floor throughout his career, making him a versatile option despite his old age.

When James made the move to Philadelphia, he posted that it would be his 'last decision' of his career.

On Monday, James said that while he won't have a Year 24 season again, he'll see 'what happens' for his 25th year.

'Me trying to focus on what my future looks like, I wouldn't be giving myself grace,' the NBA's all-time leading scorer said. 'I'm more in the present now, understanding that I'm in Year 24... I just like being in the moment, and we'll see what happens.'

As for what he hopes to accomplish this season, James made it clear he has title ambitions on his mind – adding that he left his family behind in Los Angeles to make the push.

'In order for us to be great we have to do things that are just not comfortable. We have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable, that is the best way to expedite being great,' he told reporters.

'You have to fall in love with doing things that's uncomfortable. If we can do that, we can be a great team. If we don't do that, then we'll be like "oh man it was a great team on paper and we had a lot of great talent and we lost in the second round."

'I don't want to do that. I didn't leave my family to lose in the second round, I know that.'
