WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews) — Israel’s Ministry of Defense is leading a delegation of 19 Israeli defense companies under its National Pavilion at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2026 Annual Meeting and Exposition this week in Washington, D.C., highlighting operationally tested systems as the country’s defense exports hit a record $19.2 billion in 2025.

Organized by the nonprofit Association of the United States Army, AUSA is regarded as the largest and most prominent land warfare exhibition in North America. The Israeli pavilion, coordinated by the ministry’s International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), features technologies including net-based drone interception systems, field-updatable GPS anti-jamming protection, remote explosive detection via drones and robots, AI-enabled thermal imaging that functions through darkness, smoke and fog, hybrid engines to extend drone endurance, and flexible solar panels for powering field equipment.

Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, director of SIBAT, said the participation reflects confidence in Israel’s defense industry. “Our companies are here to meet the U.S. Army and its partners face-to-face, present solutions that have already proven themselves in the field, and turn this week’s meetings into long-term cooperation,” he said. He added that the pavilion also gives small and medium-sized firms direct access to decision-makers while strengthening the U.S.-Israel strategic partnership.

The participating companies include AccuBeat, Ashot Ashkelon Industries, ASIO Technologies, CTI Intl-Solutions, Dagan-Optics, IMCO Industries, infiniDome, Lowental Hybrid, Magam Safety, Orbit Communication Systems, ParaZero Technologies, Paxis, Redler Technologies, Sol Security Labs, Solarpaint, Steadicopter, Supergum Industries, Thermal Beacon and Tracense Systems.

Israel’s participation comes as defense exports reached an all-time high of $19.2 billion in 2025 — the fifth consecutive record year and a nearly 30% increase from the prior year — according to the Ministry of Defense. Missile, rocket and air defense systems accounted for the largest share of deals. Officials said the exhibition supports broader efforts to expand exports, bolster the domestic defense industrial base and deepen international cooperation.

AUSA 2026 runs through Oct. 14 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
