I’m pleased to introduce you to my second “Country” album: “Cowboy Hat”.

“Cowboy Hat” is now available on one streaming platform near you (Soundcloud).

Firstly I want to send a million thanks to Sue Smallwood (otherwise know as @twinsglitterproductions).

Sue’s contribution is inestimable. Great bass guitar, vocals and backing vocals, splendid design work and all round brilliant ideas, unquenchable enthusiasm and encouragement.

Many thank to Paul Murphy (@PaulMurphyX) for the cover painting.

Smilja Veris co-wrote the song “Somewhere South of Hell”.

My old friend Phil Watson came up with the initial lyrics for “I Wish I Had More To Regret” and wrote about 70% of the song, but he didn’t want a credit, so many thanks to him.

The accompanying fanzine/lyric booklet was inspired by a conversation with my old friend Jack Radford (thanks Jack!). More images from that later.

So how “country” is “Cowboy Hat” compared to the previous album? Much more country! And very soon I will publish the data to prove it!
