The PVGPA modeled their Grand Sport after the historic 1963 Grand Sport Chassis #002 which is the white GS roadster famously campaigned by gentleman racer George Wintersteen and now on display inside the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia. Its iconic white-and-blue racing livery inspired the design of the PVGPA’s Grand Sport Convertible.

The 2027 Corvette Grand Sport is a 3LT Convertible in Arctic White with an Admiral Blue Grand Sport Heritage Center Stripe and matching Heritage Hash Marks. The exterior also features Carbon Flash painted nacelles and roof as well as Gloss Black forged wheels with Bright Red brake calipers.

Inside you’ll find a striking Santorini Blue Dipped interior with Torch Red accents. The GT2 Bucket Seats feature Nappa leather seating surfaces with perforated inserts, and it comes with contrasting Torch Red seatbelts.

This Grand Sport Convertible is powered by the new naturally aspirated 6.7L V8 engine paired to the 8-Speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. The car is very well optioned, and it includes the Z52 Sport Performance Package, Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes, front axle lift with memory, and it comes with the exciting new quad center-exit exhaust system that enhances the sound from the new LS6 V8.

It is a Corvette that connects generations of American performance: a historic racing name, unmistakable modern mid-engine design and open-air V8 motoring. For the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, there could hardly be a more fitting Grand Prize.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a 10-day motorsport festival that’s been a tradition in the keystone state for 40 years. The annual festival includes car shows, charity fundraisers, and two weekends of racing, one at Pitt Race and the second through the city streets of Schenley Park.

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association (PVGPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that annually raises money for autistic and IDD charities. Proceeds from the events and this fundraiser help people with autism and intellectual & developmental disabilities. Over $6 million in donations have been offered to charities by the PVGPA since its founding in 1983.
