Nonfiction:

Queens at War by Alison Weir

The fifteenth century was a time of love, loss, triumphs, tragedies, murder and malice.  This book chronicles the five Plantagenet Queens who were embroiled in the Hundred Years War between England and France and the Wars of the Roses between the royal houses of Lancaster and York that ultimately changed their lives forever. Covering the years 1403-1495, Weir describes the lives of each of these tumultuous queens who defied the limitations of their time while dealing with the often-brutal consequences because of their strong determinations.
