Tems is not apologizing for blocking the view of the people sitting behind her at Sunday's 95th Annual Oscars.

The Nigerian singer-songwriter, 27, wore a dramatic white dress with a long train and huge shoulder piece that wrapped around her head.

And now the singer, who was nominated for Best Original Song for co-writing Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is embracing her viral status on social media. 

On Monday, she posted four photos of herself in the notorious dress on Twitter and captioned them, 'Ooops!' Tems also shared 10 photos on Instagram. She captioned those, 'Uh Ohh!'

The Oscar nominee's posts garnered the attention of several celebrities. 

Model Naomi Campbell commented, 'You looked stunning,' while Nigerian singer Simi added, 'Lmfao. You looked beautiful.'

Social media users were more critical of the singer's look. One of the most memorable comments compared her dress to a cloud.

'Imagine waiting your whole life to be at the Oscars and you end up sitting behind a stratus cloud.'

'Yo, what the f**k is Tems wearing? She getting married at the after parties?' joked a different person. 'She's blocking everyone's view.'

'The lady behind Tems' neck is going to be hurting after tonight,' quipped another user. 

Some users, on the other hand, defended Tems, with one of her supporters claiming, 'If you’re sitting BEHIND greatness that is known as Tems, then perhaps you’re just not that important.'

'That's not Tems' issue,' said another person, while a different user wrote, 'That’s queen [Tems]. They should try and hustle for front seat next time.'

'POV: You're sitting behind Tems watching the Oscars,' tweeted someone else, accompanied by an image of white fabric. 

But some people defended the outlandish look.

'Consider yourself lucky to even sit at her back,' stated someone else.

Others blamed it on the creators of the strange look. 'Her designers should have thought this through,' read another tweet. 

Someone else agreed, 'She looks stunning but perhaps the designers could have made the top bit detachable.'

But when Tems hit the blue carpet at the Vanity Fair after Oscars party, she was rocking a very different - and far less obtrusive - look. 

She wore a strapless black gown with a slightly full skirt and high leg slit. 

She accessorized it with a clear collar adorned with sparkling gems.
