Illegal migration through Bulgaria has dropped by 40% compared with last year, Border Police Director Anton Zlatanov said.
Migrants are mainly coming from Afghanistan, Syria and Morocco, while Bulgarian authorities are targeting both the migrants themselves and the trafficking networks involved in their movement.
