ST. PETERSBURG, October 7. /TASS/. Specialists of a resident company at the Ushkuinik Research and Production Center have developed an intelligent system to control a group of unmanned ground and aerial vehicles using voice and text commands, a TASS correspondent reported from a national drone show.

The TASS correspondent familiarized himself with the innovation on the sidelines of the All-Russian Drone Congress 2026 running in St. Petersburg.

"This is software that makes it possible to autonomously control groups of both ground and aerial robotic vehicles with the help of voice or text. The basic scenario envisages entering voice or text data into our app and the system then recognizes the input, verifies the command and transmits it to a drone," a company representative said.

Before giving a command, the system also analyzes the capabilities of a particular robotic vehicle for implementing the assigned mission, he said.

"After a series of such checks, the entire assigned mission is automatically distributed among several robotic vehicles, subsequently awaiting a human operator’s manual confirmation," the company representative specified.

The system allows a human operator to monitor and control a flight, the movement of robotic vehicles and their fulfilment of the assigned mission, he said.

"In case of changes to input data, such an approach helps either to conclude the task or define new missions for the same groups of robotic vehicles," he added.

The All-Russian Drone Congress is running in St. Petersburg on October 7-9. The event has been organized by the RuDrones Center of Unmanned Technology Competences.
