A detachable cleaning pod, dedicated pet tool and LED headlights feature in a corded Shark deal that cuts around 47% from its listed RRP

Sharing a home with a pet means accepting a few things. Your favourite seat may no longer belong to you, clean trousers attract fur and the vacuum cleaner rarely stays in the cupboard for long.

The black Shark NZ691UKTDB is listed at £150.04 below its £319.99 RRP, a saving of around 47%. The offer is exclusive to Prime members.

Alongside its dedicated pet tool, the corded Shark vacuum includes Anti Hair Wrap technology, a detachable Lift-Away section and five attachments for cleaning beyond the floor.

Pet hair does not always finish its journey in the dust container. It can also wind around a vacuum’s brush-roll, leaving another cleaning job waiting when you thought you had finished.

Shark’s Anti Hair Wrap technology is designed to remove hair from the brush-roll as you clean, tackling long, short and pet hair.

LED headlights illuminate the floor ahead, helping reveal dust that might otherwise be difficult to spot. There are also separate carpet and hard-floor modes, with controls on the handle and adjustable suction.

That makes the feature list relevant to homes with a mixture of flooring, as well as those with a resident fur-shedder.

An upright vacuum can be useful for the main rooms, but stairs and upholstery call for a different approach.

The Shark’s Lift-Away feature lets you detach the main pod and carry it while cleaning with the hose and an attachment. It gives you a more portable setup for stairs, sofas and awkward areas above floor level.

It remains a corded cleaner in this configuration. The eight-metre power cord gives you some reach, although you will still need to work within range of a socket.

For anyone who prefers plugging in and getting on with the job, there is no battery charge to plan around.

The pet model’s accessory bundle includes an Anti Hair Wrap Pet Tool, Multi-Surface Tool, Anti-Allergen Dusting Brush, Precision Duster and Duster Crevice Tool, plus an accessory bag.

That offers options for tackling upholstery, narrow gaps and dusty surfaces, rather than relying on the main floorhead for everything.

The vacuum also has a 1.1-litre dust capacity and Shark’s Anti-Allergen Complete Seal, which the listing describes as capturing dust and allergens.

The £169.95 Prime Day price applies to the black NZ691UKTDB. The navy and orange option is listed at £199, so it is worth checking the selected version before adding it to your basket.

The £150.04 saving is against the stated RRP, rather than a verified recent selling price.

For households looking for a corded cleaner that can move from carpets to stairs and pet-covered furniture, the combination of Lift-Away cleaning and the included pet tool gives this deal more substance than the discount alone.
