I have a Windows 11 PC with a large collection of photos saved from my phone, camera, downloads, and different folders. Over time, I noticed that many photos are stored more than once, and some have different file names even though the pictures are the same.
I want to clean up these duplicate photos and free up some storage space without accidentally deleting my original pictures.
I tried checking the folders manually, but it takes too much time when there are hundreds or thousands of photos. Is there an easy way to find duplicate photos in Windows 11 and safely remove the extra copies?
I am looking for a simple method that can compare the photos, show the duplicate files, and let me choose which copies to delete. Any suggestions would be helpful.
