I didn’t expect a $20 hair mask I picked up in Seoul to become one of my favorite products for keeping my hair soft, smooth and frizz-free.

My hair feels noticeably softer, smoother and easier to manage afterward, and I get much less of that annoying frizz.

I also love that it doesn’t require some complicated 10-step hair routine. It’s basically shampoo, hair mask, rinse and done. And while Korean skincare is known for its thoughtful formulas and ingredient-focused approach, Korean haircare is starting to get the same attention, with products focused on things like hydration, damage repair, shine and smoothness.

For me, this is exactly the kind of beauty find I love discovering while traveling: affordable, easy to use and actually effective. I went to Seoul to learn about Korean skincare, but this hair mask ended up being one of the products I was happiest to bring home with me.

It features encapsulated Moroccan Argan Oil, a 7X Golden Oil Complex and proteins like hydrolyzed vegetable protein to rebuild damaged hair bonds.

After shampooing, apply to wet hair from mid-lengths to ends, massage for five to 10 minutes to melt the capsules, and rinse thoroughly.
