A neighborhood market and deli in Denver is bankrupt.

Congress Park Market, which opened in late 2023, filed for Chapter 11 protection last week. The process generally allows businesses to restructure their debts and remain operating.

At the time of the filing, owners Cecilia Jones and Jake Riederer — who collectively own 51% of the business — and John Moutzouris, who owns the remainder, said the Market had $64,851 in assets and $460,552 in liabilities.
