WASHINGTON, October 4. /TASS/. The US administration is maintaining dialogue with both Russia and Ukraine to settle the conflict between them, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright told CBS News.

According to Wright, US President Donald Trump "has worked ceaselessly to try to end this war" that would make it possible to "dramatically lower energy prices."

"He's wanted to end that conflict since before he was president. So, there is constant dialogues with both sides in that to try to bring that war to an end," he said.

Russia has repeatedly reiterated its commitment to a diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, but pointed to Kiev’s unwillingness to resolve it through talks.
